NATO is preparing new measures to counter Russian cyber attacks

NATO foreign ministers have agreed on a package of measures to counter cyber threats from the Russian Federation. Measures include sharing intelligence, additional training, and strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure.

The Foreign Minister of NATO countries today, December 4, agreed on preventive measures to counter cyber activities and other threats from the Russian Federation, said the Secretary General of the Alliance Mark Rutte, reports UNN

Both Russia and China are trying to destabilize our countries and divide our societies through sabotage, cyber attacks, and energy blackmail. Therefore, today the ministers agreed on a number of preventive measures to counter Russia's hostile and cyber activities. These include expanding intelligence sharing, conducting additional exercises, improving the protection of critical infrastructure, improving cyber defense, and tougher measures against the shadow fleet of Russian oil-exporting vessels

- Rutte said. 

The secretary general also indicated that NATO  will work closely with the EU on these issues. 

Addition 

The UK has warned that Russia is ready to carry out cyber attacks on the country and other allies in order to weaken Western support for Ukraine.

Also , deputy prime minister and Minister of digitalization of Poland Krzysztof Gavkowski saidthat Russia no longer hides that it is in a state of cyber war with Poland.
