August 6 has been declared a Day of Mourning in the Kyiv region due to Russia's massive missile and drone attack. Sixteen people were killed, 36 injured, and 78 facilities were damaged.
In the Kyiv region, August 6 has been declared a Day of Mourning for the victims of the massive Russian attack on the night of August 5, Kyiv Regional Military Administration head Timur Tkachenko said on social media on Wednesday, UNN reports.

He said that, as a sign of mourning, the State Flags of Ukraine would be flown at half-mast in the Kyiv region, and entertainment events would also be restricted.
According to the regional administration head, as of 12:00 p.m. on August 5, "16 people were killed and another 36 injured" in the Kyiv region as a result of the massive missile-and-drone strike.
The Brovary district suffered the most. "Here, the enemy killed 10 people and another 16 were injured. Nineteen facilities were damaged: seven warehouse buildings, a production facility, three private homes, a greenhouse facility, and seven trucks," Tkachenko said.
In the Bucha district, the regional administration head said, five people were killed and 16 injured. Forty facilities were damaged: five warehouse buildings, a private home, and 34 vehicles.
In the Fastiv district, he added, one person was killed and four injured. Nineteen facilities were damaged: a warehouse building and 18 vehicles.
In total, 78 facilities were damaged in the Kyiv region, including 13 warehouse buildings, a production facility, four private homes, a greenhouse facility, and 59 vehicles, the regional administration head said.
