MFA: we do feel that the US support packages are now larger and more frequent

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced an increase in the volume and frequency of military support from the United States. Ukraine is also working with European partners to strengthen Europe's defense self-sufficiency.
Ukraine does feel that the US military support packages are now larger and more frequent. This was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Heorhiy Tykhyi during a press conference on Friday, answering a question from UNN.
We are working to ensure that military support is maintained from the US and other partners. We do feel that the support packages (from the US - ed.) are larger and more frequent now, and we welcome this. We emphasize that not only the announcement but also the delivery of this aid to the frontline is very important for us. We hope that the stated goal of providing all possible assistance to Ukraine will be fulfilled
He noted that in communicating with European partners, Ukraine emphasizes that everyone will benefit from greater European defense self-sufficiency.
"As for our European partners, our position is very simple, we emphasize in our communications with them that regardless of the course of the new US administration, everyone will benefit from greater European defense self-sufficiency, so regardless of how events develop in the US, Europe needs to increase defense production and understanding of responsibility for its own security at a high rate," Tychy said.
Asked whether Europe understands that it needs to help Ukraine more, Tychy replied: "Yes, it does, and we are encouraging it to understand even more.

United States President Joe Biden commented on Russia's attack on Ukraine on December 25. He instructed to continue to increase military assistance to Ukraine.
On December 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the United States is now increasing military aid to Ukraine.
