Five civilians, including a child, were killed and 26 injured in a massive nighttime attack by Russian troops in several regions of Ukraine, damaging more than 100 buildings.

A massive attack by Russian troops on Ukraine on the night of March 22 killed five civilians, including a child, and wounded 26, the National Police reported on Friday, UNN reported.

Five civilians were killed and 26 wounded as a result of the nighttime massive shelling of Ukraine by Russian troops. More than 100 buildings were damaged, including energy infrastructure facilities

The police said that from night to morning today, Russian terrorists struck Ukraine with missiles and UAVs.

According to the police:

  • As of 15:00 in Khmelnytsky region, two people were killed, eight others were injured, and one woman was rescued from the rubble.
  • Three civilians, including a 9-year-old girl, were killed and 15 others were injured in Zaporizhzhya region. A police officer is among the wounded.
  • Two people were wounded by Russian shelling in Ivano-Frankivsk region.
  • One person was wounded in Kharkiv region.

It is noted that as a result of the attacks of the invading army, Kharkiv was temporarily left without electricity, and there is partially no electricity supply in Khmelnytsky.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, Russian shelling temporarily left the city hospital and hundreds of people's homes without electricity.

Traffic will be regulated by patrol police officers and the local population will be notified of the air raid via loudspeakers.

Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war) for all war crimes committed by the Russian Federation.

Police, rescuers and medics continue to work at the sites of hostile attacks. The liquidation of the consequences is underway.
