The US Secretary of State called Iran a sponsor of terrorism due to attacks on commercial vessels. Trump threatens to destroy civilization if the strait is closed.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio accused Iran of carrying out terrorist acts in the Strait of Hormuz, attacking commercial vessels attempting to pass through this key waterway, UNN reports with reference to AP.
Unfortunately, the whole world has suffered because Iran is violating all known laws by attacking commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. This is a big problem for the whole world. I mean, this is a regime that doesn't believe in laws and rules or anything like that. It's a state sponsor of terrorism, so it's not surprising that they are currently carrying out terrorist operations against commercial vessels.
He declined to answer what Trump meant when he threatened that "an entire civilization will perish tonight" if Iran does not comply with US demands to open the strait.
