Seven medical professionals appeared before the court, accused of negligent care for Maradona in the last weeks of his life.
The footballer died in 2020 at the age of 60 from cardiac arrest while recovering from surgery.

According to Gianinna, doctors, including a psychiatrist and a psychologist, were responsible for the treatment and home care, where Maradona's condition deteriorated.
At the same time, Luque's defense claims that the footballer's family did not act quickly enough to ensure proper care.
