Man detained in Lviv for knife attack on TCR serviceman

In Lviv, a 29-year-old man stabbed a TCC employee in the shoulder with a knife during a mobilization notice procedure. The attacker has been detained and faces up to five years in prison.

In Lviv, police detained a man who stabbed a Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) serviceman, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region reported on Tuesday, UNN writes.

According to the police, on May 29, at around 12:10 PM on Khvylyovoho Street, an unidentified man stabbed a TRC serviceman who was part of a notification group, and then fled.
Medics diagnosed the victim with a laceration to the shoulder.
"Police established the identity and location of the perpetrator – a 29-year-old Lviv resident – and detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine," the police noted.
The detainee was reportedly served a notice of suspicion for committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 350 (Threat or violence against a public official or a citizen performing a public duty) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment – restriction of liberty for a term of three to five years or imprisonment for the same term.
