Today, Kyiv and Dnipropetrovs'k region had the most power outages, while restrictions were lifted for Odesa and Lviv in the afternoon. Yasno CEO Serhiy Kovalenko hinted at an unfair distribution of electricity, UNN reports .
Details
Today is the first day when Ukrenergo has been instructed to use less than 4 lines at a time. We already see very noticeable signals that not all regions use the restrictions equally. This is a question for the relevant regulatory authorities. It is noticeable that Kyiv and Dnipropetrovs'k region are the most restrictive. If we are talking about a fair distribution across the country, this should not be the case. We all expected the situation to improve after one nuclear unit came out of repair. But the capital has not yet felt it, and we need to find out why. This afternoon, restrictions were lifted for Odesa and Lviv. I want to be happy for them and a little jealous. I also want to know the reasons for such different approaches to the regions
He also emphasized that this weekend is hot, and electricity consumption should be decreasing, so the restrictions will be less severe.
According to NPC's forecasts, there will be no outages at night from 2 to 5 and the whole day should be without restrictions in light gray zones
Recall
Tomorrow in Ukraine, blackout schedules will become less stringent, and from 02:00 to 05:00, the power will not be cut off at all.
