Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba takes part in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, stating that Ukraine has completed all the steps required by the European Commission to start negotiations on EU accession and is awaiting a decision on the practical start of negotiations.

Ukraine has completed all the steps required by the European Commission to start negotiations on joining the European Union and is waiting for the EU to make decisions to start accession talks in practice. According to the Foreign Ministry, this was stated by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba during a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, UNN reports.

The minister noted that "Ukraine has fulfilled all 4 steps defined by the European Commission as part of the Enlargement Package.

He expressed hope that "the European Commission and the EU member states will objectively assess Ukraine's progress and make the decisions necessary for the practical start of negotiations on our country's accession to the European Union."
