The Turkish media speculated that Asma al-Assad wanted to end her marriage and leave Russia, where she and her husband had been granted asylum after a coalition of rebels overthrew the former president's regime and took control of Damascus.
However, Mr. Peskov denied this information.
He also denied reports that Assad was restricted in Moscow and that his property was frozen.

Assad's wife has dual Syrian-British citizenship, but the British Foreign Secretary has previously stated that she will not be allowed to return to Britain.
"I want it to be confirmed that she is a sanctioned person and she is not welcome here in the UK," said David Lammy.
He added that he would do "everything in my power" to ensure that no member of the Assad family "has a place in the UK.
In a statement attributed to Bashar al-Assad last week, he said he never intended to flee Syria, but was flown from a Russian military base at Moscow's request.
