In Zaporizhzhia, the air raid warning system is being strengthened, particularly during the threat of guided aerial bombs. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, informs UNN.

Details

According to him, the capabilities of the "Air Raid" app are being expanded: thus, the notifications will indicate not only the fact of the alarm being declared, but also the type of air threat.

We are introducing Cell Broadcast technology. The message will automatically appear on top of all applications or on the locked screen of the phone and will be accompanied by a loud sound signal. The system works on the networks of Kyivstar, Vodafone, and lifecell and does not require installing additional applications or connecting to the internet

- Fedorov said.

He clarified that warnings are also being strengthened during the threat of the use of KABs (guided aerial bombs) — the signal from street loudspeakers will sound for five minutes instead of approximately three during a regular air raid.

Fedorov also said that patrol police will be involved in additional notification.

"Crews with loudspeakers will patrol the central streets of the city and report the threat of the use of KABs," announced the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

Reminder

In Sumy, additional notification about the threat of guided aerial bombs has been implemented. In case of danger, a message will sound through loudspeakers: "Attention! KABs on the city. Everyone to shelter!".
