In the village of Soimy in Zakarpattia, three cars collided, resulting in 13 people being injured, including four children. The drivers were sober, and the police have launched an investigation.

In the village of Soimy, Khust district, in Zakarpattia, three cars collided — an Opel, a UAZ, and a Mercedes-Benz minibus carrying a tourist group. As a result of the accident, 13 people sought medical help, including four children. This was reported by the police of Zakarpattia region, writes UNN.
Today at about 11:25 a.m. in the village of Soimy, Khust district, a traffic accident occurred
Police established the preliminary circumstances of the accident: a 38-year-old resident of Lviv, driving an Opel, at a crossroads drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a UAZ driven by a 65-year-old resident of the village of Repynne. The impact threw the UAZ into the oncoming lane, where it collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz minibus that was transporting a tourist group.
13 people sought medical help, including four children. Two people from the UAZ were hospitalized, and another female passenger will be treated on an outpatient basis after receiving assistance. From the minibus, 10 passengers sought medical help, including three girls aged 7, 13, and 14.
The police noted that all drivers underwent sobriety tests and were sober.
The incident was classified under Part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Expert examinations will be ordered in the case to establish the final circumstances of the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
