The State Emergency Service also reported that this morning the enemy launched an artillery attack on a forest on the outskirts of the village of Kolisnykivka, Kupyansk district. The enemy shells caused a forest fire.
"Dry coniferous litter caught fire there. At the time of the firefighters' arrival, the grassland fire had spread to an area of about 1 hectare," the SES wrote on Telegram .
Rescuers have reportedly extinguished the fire. Thanks to their professional actions, a large-scale wildfire was prevented.
Earlier it was reported that the village of Monachynivka in Kupyansky district of Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. A 73-year-old man and a 77-year-old woman were wounded. The occupants shelled Kupyansk-Kuzlovyi. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, a fire broke out and a man born in 1959 died.
