In Prykarpattia, criminals dressed in military uniforms robbed an entrepreneur of UAH 8 million when they stopped his car under the pretext of checking it.
In Prykarpattia, attackers dressed in military uniforms stopped an entrepreneur's car, allegedly to check it, and robbed him of UAH 8 million. This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine, UNN reports.

As investigators found out, the incident occurred in one of the villages of Ivano-Frankivsk district.
A group of people in camouflage uniforms stopped an Opel Astra. Under the pretext of checking the vehicle, the suspects asked the driver to get out of the car. The offenders openly seized bags of money from the luggage compartment. The total amount is over UAH 8 million
The law enforcement officers explained that the money belonged to a 61-year-old entrepreneur and was being transported by the man. As a result of investigative and operational actions, the police have already identified the offenders.
It is about four residents of Prykarpattia. It is noted that after committing the crime, the defendants burned their camouflage clothes and drowned the car they were driving in the Dniester.
After that, the perpetrators changed into civilian clothes and changed vehicles.
The police of Prykarpattia region promptly detained two suspects. They have already been served a notice of suspicion under Part 5 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It is a robbery committed on a particularly large scale or by an organized group. The court imposed on the suspects a custodial measure of restraint. The criminals now face up to 13 years behind bars
The police of Prykarpattia region are establishing the whereabouts of two more suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
