Kyiv • UNN
In March, the Russian armed forces suffered significant losses - about 1,300 personnel and 30 pieces of equipment in the Avdiivka sector, a spokesman for the 47th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said.
The enemy is trying to put pressure using armored vehicles, but Ukrainian defenders are repelling the Russian invaders. The enemy's losses in the area of responsibility of the 47th Mechanized Brigade reach 1300 occupants and dozens of vehicles, but the Russian Armed Forces are introducing new units whose weapons are currently unknown, UNN reports with reference to the press officer of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces, Anastasia Blyshchyk, on the air of "United News".
There hasn't been a single day when the enemy hasn't tried to push Ukrainian positions. They are actively using armored vehicles: BMP-3, armored personnel carriers, tanks. However, Ukrainian defenders are trying to burn all enemy vehicles before they approach the 47th Brigade's area of responsibility. Over the month, enemy losses in equipment amounted to about 30 units.
The 47th Brigade spokesperson also noted that the militants lost almost 1,300 occupants who were eliminated by the 47th Brigade defenders.
In addition, it has become known that the enemy is renewing its forces in the Avdiivka sector.
About two or three weeks ago, a new unit, the 37th Separate Assault Brigade of the Russian Federation, entered the Russian Armed Forces, but according to our information, it has already been withdrawn from the area of responsibility of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade, because the Russians withdrew their brigade due to huge losses. Now a new unit has arrived, but it is not yet known what they are armed with. The 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade is holding its ground.
