Putin signed a decree on the start of the spring conscription campaign in Russia, according to which 150,000 citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 will be called up for compulsory military service from April 1 to July 15, 2024.

According to the published decree, spring conscription in russia is announced from April 1 to July 15. It is noted that for the first time it will be held with an increased age limit - up to 30 years old.
The government, regional authorities and conscription commissions have been instructed to ensure appropriate arrangements.
It is noted that soldiers, sailors, sergeants and petty officers, whose term of conscription has expired, will be dismissed from service.
