According to law enforcement officials in Kyiv region, a traffic accident with victims occurred on the 42nd kilometer of the Kyiv-Chernihiv highway.
It was established that a 37-year-old drunk driver of a BMW collided with a Citroen moving in the same direction.
The impact caused the following effects:
A BMW collided with a MAN ;
A Citroen was thrown onto a parked truck by a Renault;
The latter, in turn, collided with a parked Renault Magnum tractor .
The driver was intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of 1.6 ppm. Police officers detained the driver and placed him in a temporary detention center.
Investigators served the offender with a notice of suspicion over the incident (Part 1 of Art. 286-1 of the Criminal Code).
