A driver and a pedestrian were injured in a traffic accident in Kharkiv's Industrial District; police are considering opening criminal proceedings for violating traffic safety rules.
Today, on December 20, a traffic accident occurred in the Industrial District of Kharkiv, injuring two people. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kharkiv region.
Details
The accident occurred on December 20 at about 14:40 on Myru Street. A 38-year-old driver of a KIA SPORTAGE failed to give way to a CITROEN driven by a 40-year-old woman. As a result of the collision, both cars flew onto a pedestrian crossing
It is noted that as a result of the accident a 38-year-old female driver and a female pedestrian were hospitalized with injuries. An investigative team was sent to the address.

Investigators are considering opening a criminal proceeding under Art. 286 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. All the circumstances of the accident are being established.
