In Kharkiv, a 55-year-old Nissan driver, while drunk, provoked a three-car accident. The driver of a Renault was killed in the accident, and two passengers were injured.
On August 17, a drunken Nissan driver caused a three-car accident in Kharkiv. The driver of one of the cars was killed in the accident, and two passengers were injured. UNN reports this with reference to the police of the Kharkiv region.

Reportedly, the accident occurred around 9:00 a.m. on Malomyasnytska Street.
Law enforcement officers found that while driving, a 55-year-old driver of a Nissan Rogue, while being intoxicated, drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a Renault 19 Chamade driven by a 65-year-old driver. After the collision, the Nissan was thrown into its own lane, where it collided with a Renault Logan driven by a 39-year-old man.
As a result of the accident, the driver of a Renault 19 Chamade died at the scene from his injuries. The passengers of the car, 66- and 71-year-old women, sustained numerous injuries. They were hospitalized to the hospital
The 55-year-old driver was detained. Investigators opened a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 3 of Article 286-1 (violation of the rules of road safety or operation of transport by persons driving vehicles while intoxicated) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
