Russia has begun production of mobile shelters to protect against nuclear and chemical weapons. The production is carried out in Dzerzhinsk with the support of the state due to the lack of available shelters.

The launch of mass production of bunkers is supported by the state. UNN writes with reference to the Russian media.

Russia has started mass production of mobile shelters that can be used to protect people from various threats, including natural disasters, light radiation from a nuclear explosion and radioactive contamination of the area. This was reported by the All-Russian Research Institute for Civil Defense and Emergency Situations.

Production is supported at the state level: in May 2024, the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry proposed to create modular nuclear and chemical weapons storage facilities, noting that the current storage facilities in Russia are insufficient.

The production is carried out in the city of Dzerzhinsk, Nizhny Novgorod Region. The structure can be transported to another location and connected to existing utility systems.
