The Israel Defense Forces carried out the largest coordinated strike in 10 minutes, targeting over 100 command centers and military facilities of "Hezbollah." They are located in Beirut, Beqaa, and southern Lebanon.
Among the targets hit were Hezbollah headquarters, military facilities, and command centers:
- intelligence command centers and central headquarters used by Hezbollah militants to direct and plan terrorist attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli civilians;
- infrastructure of Hezbollah's fire and naval forces, responsible for launching rockets at IDF military personnel on land, at sea, and in Israeli territory;
- facilities of the "Radwan" forces and the air group - elite units of "Hezbollah."
This large-scale strike was based on precise IDF intelligence and meticulously planned over several weeks by the IDF Operations Directorate, the Intelligence Directorate, and the Israeli Air Force - the Israeli military reported.
As Associated Press News reports, many of the affected sites were located in civilian areas, and Israel accused "Hezbollah" of using civilians as human shields.
