I hope the US will respond positively to Zelenskyy's request – Senator Blumenthal

U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal commented on the letter sent by President of Ukraine Zelenskyy to President Donald Trump regarding the air defense shortage in Ukraine, stating that he hopes the U.S. will respond positively to this request, UNN reports. 

Ukraine will win if it has the means to finish the job. Perhaps the most important thing right now is air defense. We see the escalation of Putin's brutality in attacks on residential buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, and schools. The letter was written very persuasively and accurately. I hope that the U.S. will respond positively to this request. We have done this in the past and must do it again in the future, because it is about saving lives,
