Heat wave forecast to reach +38° in Ukraine

Ukraine is experiencing a severe heat wave, with temperatures reaching 38°C, which has led to the declaration of an emergency fire hazard level in most regions, except for some western regions where precipitation is expected.
An emergency level of fire danger has been declared in Ukraine, except for Zaporizhzhia, Kherson and most western regions, where precipitation is likely. This was reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, UNN reports.

"Partly cloudy weather in the western and eastern, in the afternoon and in Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson regions and in Crimea, with some light short-term rain and thunderstorms; in the rest of the territory, partly cloudy, no precipitation. The wind is mostly northeast, 5-10 m/s," the statement said.
It is noted that in the southern part, eastern, Dnipro, Kirovohrad and Poltava regions, a strong heat wave is forecasted during the day - 35-38°; in the rest of the territory 28-33°, in most western regions 25-30°.
In Kyiv and the region, dry, hot weather is expected with daytime temperatures up to 33°. The wind will be northeast, 5-10 m/s.
