Former prosecutor of the Slobozhanska District Prosecutor's Office taken into custody

The court has arrested a former prosecutor of the Slobozhanska Prosecutor's Office on suspicion of bribery. The suspect may be released on bail in the amount of 1.6 million hryvnias.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has ordered a preventive measure for a former prosecutor of the Slobozhanska District Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was reported by the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, according to UNN.

On May 19, 2026, the HACC investigating judge supported the position of the SAPO prosecutor and applied a preventive measure to the former prosecutor of the Slobozhanska District Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region
The court ruled to hold the suspect in custody with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 1,000,664 hryvnias. The SAPO noted that "in the event that bail is posted, the individual will be subject to relevant procedural obligations."
Former prosecutor taken into custody in the courtroom
The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office also reported that the former prosecutor was "taken into custody in the courtroom."
According to the SAPO, on May 13, 2026, the individual was notified of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This pertains to the receipt of an improper benefit by an official.
