South Korean archer Lim Shihyeon set a world record at the Paris Olympics with 694 points. This is 2 points more than the previous record set by her compatriot Kang Jae-young in 2019.
South Korean archer Lim Shihyun became the first person to set a world record at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, surpassing the result set by her compatriot Kang Jae-yong in 2019, UNN reports with reference to the International Archery Federation.

Lim set a world record of 694 points, becoming the leader of the women's qualification at the first session of the Paris 2024 competition, and her team also set a new Olympic record.
"This is my first Olympic Games, so I wanted to give it my all," she said. - "I was preparing for it. And then I just tried to enjoy it. The result came through.
Lim's score is two more than the previous world record (692) set by Kang Jae-yong at the 2019 Hyundai World Archery Championships. This is 14 points more than the Olympic record of 680 set by Ahn Sang three years ago.
