The Ministry of Defense is preparing to transform service conditions and military recruitment. The first ten reform projects are almost ready for official launch in Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov, reporting on his first three months in office, announced the preparation of a large-scale reform of recruitment and service in the Defense Forces. According to him, some of the decisions are almost ready for launch, UNN reports.
Ministry of Defense prepares large-scale changes in recruitment
Among the key areas of work, the minister named updating approaches to attracting people to the military and improving service conditions.

What else he called the results of his work
Fedorov also mentioned among the results of the first three months of work a change in approaches to the procurement of drones and robotic platforms, the launch of new digital solutions, an audit of the state defense-industrial complex, and the strengthening of air defense.
Separately, he announced the updating of the structure of the Ministry of Defense and the creation of a new management team.
About systemic problems
The minister stated that after his appointment, he faced problems that had accumulated in the system for years.
Total absence of goals and responsibility within the system. A culture of fear and lies, and at the same time heroism, technology, innovation, and asymmetry
According to him, the main task now is to transform the defense system as quickly as possible to strengthen the front and deplete enemy resources.
