Ukraine is the first to systematically implement long-range remote control of interceptor drones - Fedorov
Kyiv • UNN
Mykhailo Fedorov announced the scaling of drone control technology over distances of thousands of kilometers. Pilots can shoot down targets from protected locations.

Ukraine is the first country in the world to systematically scale up remote control of interceptor drones, now interceptor control is possible at a distance of thousands of kilometers. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov, writes UNN.
A year ago, through Brave1, we initiated the development and testing of remote control technology for interceptor drones. Today we have a confirmed result – shooting down targets at distances of hundreds and thousands of kilometers. Ukraine is the first in the world to systematically scale up remote control of interceptor drones.
Fedorov noted that now the drone pilot is no longer tied to a position and can control from a protected environment in Kyiv, Lviv, or even abroad, which increases the effectiveness of interception, minimizes risks for operators, and allows scaling capabilities without being tied to the front.
More than 10 manufacturers have already integrated this solution into their systems.
