EU confirms that Ukraine will receive 4.5 billion euros next week

Next week, Ukraine will receive €4.5 billion from the EU as part of a €50 billion aid package for 2024-2027.
Ukraine will receive 4.5 billion euros from the European Union under its four-year Ukraine Facility program next week. The announcement was made on March 15 by European Commissioner for Budget and Administration Johannes Hahn, UNN reports .

Kyiv is to receive an additional 1.5 billion euros ($1.6 billion) in the coming months.

On February 28, the Council of the European Union approved a significant aid package of 50 billion euros ($54 billion) in loans and grants to Kyiv, marking the official introduction of a financing instrument in Ukraine.
This financial support covers the period from 2024 to 2027 and includes 33 billion euros ($35.8 billion) in loans and 17 billion euros ($18.5 billion) in grants.
