Enemy Geran-2 drone damaged a kindergarten and residential buildings in Sumy

A Russian Geran-2 drone damaged a kindergarten and four houses in Sumy. Preliminarily, there are no casualties; air defense forces shot down some of the enemy drones.

The enemy attacked Sumy on the night of Monday, June 1. This was reported by the head of the Sumy City Military Administration, Serhiy Kryvosheyenko, according to UNN.

According to him, an enemy UAV of the "Geran-2" type struck a residential sector in the Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy.
Preliminary reports indicate no casualties. A preschool educational institution was damaged—more than 20 windows were blown out—and there is also damage to four nearby residential buildings, affecting about 60 windows and balcony frames,
He also noted that on Sunday evening, Sumy was attacked by enemy drones. Some of the UAVs were destroyed by air defense forces, while other enemy drones were neutralized after falling. The enemy failed to reach most of its targets.
"In the Zarichnyi district, a non-operational two-story building caught fire as a result of a 'Geran-2' crash. The fire was liquidated," specified the head of the Sumy City Military Administration.
