President Andrzej Duda is planning to visit the United States soon and meet with President-elect Donald Trump. Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk confirmed this during a meeting with journalists, UNN reports with reference to Polish Radio.
"President Andrzej Duda will present the Polish government's position on Ukraine abroad," he said.
"Mr. President Duda told me that he is likely to visit the United States soon. I will keep my fingers crossed because it is very important to me. Despite the differences that are known to everyone, President Duda's term is coming to an end, and since Duda has invested in his personal relationship with President Trump, we can use this together in Polish-American negotiations, especially in the context of Ukraine," the Polish Prime Minister said.

According to the Polish website Onet, Andrzej Duda will fly to meet with Donald Trump in the next few hours or after Polish Independence Day. On Friday, November 8, the President's Office was supposed to apply for a plane reservation for a flight to the United States, but no specific date has been set.
