The State Logistics Operator has announced a new tender for the supply of food for military units in Donetsk region for the second half of 2024 after one supplier failed to meet the requirements.

The State Operator of the Logistics has announced a new tender for the supply of food for military units in Donetsk region for the second half of this year. The supplier assigned to this region did not fulfill certain tender requirements. This was reported by the press service of the SOL, according to UNN.

The SOL noted that based on the results of inspections of the capacities of seven suppliers after the contract for the second half of the year, one of them, Granpri LTD, was suspended from fulfilling orders until the remarks were eliminated.

"The other day, the company reported that it had already corrected the shortcomings. The SOL team re-checked its facilities and found that Granpri LTD is able to provide food only to two of the three regions assigned to it - Kirovohrad and Odesa. The warehouses for supplies to Donetsk region do not meet the stated requirements," the SOL said.

They added that a new tender has been announced for the supply of food to the military in Donetsk Oblast.

"The State Logistics Operator signed contracts with seven companies to supply food to the Armed Forces in the second half of 2024. The contracts amounted to more than UAH 17 billion. The average price per set is UAH 109.22. Based on the results of the tenders, seven suppliers with the most cost-effective offers were selected.
