Russia jeopardized the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant by simulating strikes and deploying troops and weapons there, while Ukraine denied any involvement in any armed provocations at the Russian-occupied facility.
Ukraine is not involved in any armed provocations on the territory of the illegally occupied ZNPP. This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andriy Yusov in a commentary to Ukrainska Pravda, UNN reports.

Yusov emphasized that simulated Russian strikes on the territory of the station are a constant practice of the occupiers.
The aggressor state is once again endangering the nuclear facility, civilians and the environment throughout Europe. Russian strikes, including simulated strikes, on the territory of the Ukrainian nuclear power plant, as well as the deployment of troops and weapons there, and the mining of ZNPP facilities have long been a well-known and ongoing criminal practice of the occupiers
He noted that Russia must withdraw its troops from all ZNPP facilities, as this is the only way to restore compliance with all necessary international standards and control over the important nuclear power facility.
