The initiative, as stated, is aimed at reducing the risks associated with gambling addiction among military personnel.
It is expected that when entering a game, the system will automatically check the user's data in the relevant registers – in particular, in the register of persons with limited access to gambling and in the register of military personnel.
"If the restriction is confirmed, access to the game will be automatically blocked," the agency noted.
At the same time, gambling organizers, as stated, will not receive information that the user is a military person. The system will only transmit the fact of the restriction without disclosing personal data or reasons for blocking.
The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that such measures should increase the protection of military personnel from the negative consequences of gambling addiction in wartime conditions.
