The 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the Sudzha border crossing point in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. The Ukrainian military captured more than 50 Russians and broke through the enemy's defense line.
Paratroopers from the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Galician Airborne Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces took part in the offensive in the Kursk region from the very beginning. They destroyed the Sudzha border checkpoint and captured more than fifty Russians. They added that assault groups of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Galician Airborne Brigade of the Armed Forces received support from artillery and heavy armor.
After the Russians came under heavy fire from Ukrainian artillery and saw Ukrainian tanks breaking through the border, the Russian troops made the right decision to put up a white flag and surrender.
