The heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark and the USA will meet in Brussels. Previously, Trump expressed intentions to control Greenland, which caused tension in relations between the countries.
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen plans to meet with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio later this week. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Financial Times.

The event is scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 3, during a meeting of foreign ministers of NATO member countries in Brussels. It was initially reported that the meeting between the US Secretary of State and the Danish Foreign Minister could be canceled amid worsening relations between the two countries over disputes over Greenland. Nevertheless, American and Danish officials are maintaining minimal diplomatic contact, the publication notes.
