Denmark allocates 6 million euros for the restoration of Ukraine's energy sector: what is known

Denmark will provide Ukraine with €6 million to restore damaged energy infrastructure through the Energy Support Fund. The country is one of the leaders in terms of the volume of assistance to Ukraine relative to its own GDP.

The 6 million euros that Denmark will provide to Ukraine to restore the energy infrastructure damaged by the Russians will be directed to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund.
The assistance to Ukraine was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration - Minister of Justice of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna and a delegation from Denmark led by Danish Minister for European Affairs Maria Bjerre Høst.
As emphasized by Danish Deputy Prime Minister Maria Bjerre Høst, support for Ukraine has been and remains one of Denmark's top priorities. And they want to see Ukraine as a member of the European Union, so they will provide comprehensive support to our country on the path to European integration.
Currently, Denmark is one of the leaders among our country's partners in terms of the volume of assistance as a percentage of its own GDP.
Recall
Denmark has already transferred 6 F-16 fighters to Ukraine out of the planned 19. The next batch of aircraft is expected by the end of 2024, the exact number is not disclosed.
