Court detains suspect for 60 days for shooting in Chuhuiv

A 35-year-old man was arrested and detained for 60 days for firing a Kalashnikov rifle at a residential building in Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region, damaging an apartment window.
In the Kharkiv region, a court has imposed a pre-trial restraint on a suspect for the shooting in Chuhuiv. This was reported by the Police of the Kharkiv region, according to UNN.

In the evening of March 10, on a street in Chuhuiv, a 35-year-old attacker opened fire from a Kalashnikov rifle towards a residential building.
As a result of hooliganism, a window of an apartment located on the 7th floor was damaged.
The police detained the offender near the scene and served him a notice of suspicion under Part 4 of Article 296 (hooliganism) and Part 1 of Article 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On March 12, the Chuhuiv City Court, having considered the case, imposed a pre-trial restraint on the detainee - detention for 60 days.
