According to McCrindle's forecasts, by 2035, Generation Beta will account for up to 16% of the world's population. It follows Generation Alpha, which lasted from 2010 to 2024.
Prior to that, there was Generation Z, which lasted from 1996 to 2010, and Generation Y (millennials), who were born from 1981 to 1996, the newspaper writes.
