CEC appoints new MP from Voice after Oleh Makarov's death

Ivan Prymachenko became the new MP of Ukraine from the Voice party after the death of Oleh Makarov. The CEC recognized him as elected on the party's list at number 24.
The Central Election Commission has recognized Ivan Prymachenko as an elected MP of Ukraine after the death of his fellow party member Oleh Makarov, reports UNN.

The Central Election Commission received a document from the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine's Secretariat certifying the early termination of the powers of MP Oleh Makarov.
Oleh Makarov was elected in the early parliamentary elections on July 21, 2019, in a nationwide multi-mandate constituency from the Golos political party.
“The CEC reviewed the document and recognized Ivan Prymachenko, the next candidate in line on the electoral list of the Voice political party under No. 24, as the elected MP of Ukraine in the said elections in the nationwide multi-mandate constituency,” the statement said.
