Called for torture of prisoners and striking Kyiv with "Oreshnik" - UOC deacon and archimandrite exposed

The SBU exposed four agitators, including representatives of the UOC-MP, who called for violence against prisoners. The perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison.

The Security Service has detained 4 more enemy agitators in various regions of Ukraine. The perpetrators supported Russia's armed aggression, called for shelling Ukrainian cities and torturing Ukrainian prisoners of war. This was reported by the SBU, writes UNN.
Thus, in the Kyiv region, a senior deacon of the Kyiv Metropolis of the UOC (MP) was exposed, who in Telegram channel chats incited Russian fascists to violence against Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers who are in captivity.
It was documented how the cleric called on the enemy to imprison our soldiers in Russian prisons, leave them without food and water for a long time, and send them "to hard labor."
In the Cherkasy region, a local unemployed man received a suspicion for praising Putin in various messengers and calling on him to strike Kyiv with "Oreshnik."
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, an archimandrite, former abbot of the Sievierodonetsk diocese of the UOC (MP), was exposed for justifying the crimes of the Russian fascists and awaiting the full occupation of Ukraine.
It was established that after the capture of part of the Luhansk region in 2014, the cleric traveled to Russia to enlist the support of the leaders of the Russian Orthodox Church.
Upon returning to Ukraine, he conducted liturgies in one of the churches in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where he incited parishioners to support the Kremlin regime.
In addition, the cleric justified Russian shelling of Ukrainian cities in personal correspondence with acquaintances.
In Prykarpattia, SBU officers, together with the National Police, detained a native of the Kosiv district who called for the revival of the USSR on social networks.
According to the case materials, the defendant published Soviet symbols on her Facebook page and agitated Ukrainian citizens to ignore the current legislation of our state.
Based on the collected evidence, investigators of the Security Service informed the defendants of suspicion in accordance with the committed crimes under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 2 of Art. 436-1 (production, distribution of communist, Nazi symbols and propaganda of communist and national socialist (Nazi) totalitarian regimes);
- Parts 1, 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
The perpetrators face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
