An indictment against Ukrainian MP Lyudmyla Marchenko and her assistant, who were caught receiving $11,300 for crossing the border, has been sent to court. This was reported by the SAPO, according to UNN.

According to law enforcement, two episodes of illegal activity of MP from the Servant of the People party Lyudmyla Marchenko and her assistant have been established. The first was receiving $6,000 from a citizen of military age for unimpeded border crossing.

The second episode was the receipt of $5,300. It was after this episode that the defendants were notified of suspicion

On October 31, the SAPO completed the investigation in this case. The pre-trial investigation found that the MP and her accomplice promised the men to influence the decision to allow them to leave Ukraine, as well as to enter relevant information into the Shlyakh Information System.
