EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell says he sees no signs of "fatigue" among the bloc's member states and is confident that support for Ukraine will continue. He said this at a joint press conference with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Brussels on Tuesday, UNN reports .
To be honest, I don't see any signs that member states have what you call "fatigue." Everybody is concerned, and everybody recognizes the successes of the Ukrainians - some of them are not talked about,
The EU diplomat pointed to the successes, in particular, the functioning of the "grain corridor" without Russia, which became possible due to the rejection of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
I am confident that member states will continue to support Ukraine, because this is an existential issue for us. We can't afford to get tired, we can't afford to be tired, we also have obligations,
To recap,
Borrell announced the start of discussions on the issue of EU security commitments for Ukraine and announced a visit to Kyiv next week by a representative of the bloc to discuss it with Ukrainian counterparts.
