A Barcelona court has released Jonathan Andic, the son of the Mango founder. The billionaire's death in the mountains has been reclassified from an accident to murder.

A court in Barcelona has released businessman Jonathan Andic from custody – the son of Isak Andic, the founder of the Spanish retail chain Mango, who is suspected of involvement in his father's murder. This was reported by El País and La Vanguardia, according to UNN.

According to Spanish media, the court allowed Andic to remain free following questioning as part of the investigation into the billionaire's death.
Earlier today, it was reported that the Catalan police had detained Jonathan Andic on suspicion of the possible murder of his father. The investigation noted contradictions in his testimony regarding the death of Isak Andic.
The founder of Mango died in December 2024 during a hiking trip in the mountains of Catalonia. Initially, his death was considered an accident following a fall from a cliff; however, in October 2025, the case was reclassified as murder.
