The Lviv Regional Center for Hydrometeorology today warned of thunderstorms, hail in places, gusts of 15-20 m/s and significant torrential rain across Lviv and the region, with a I ("yellow") level of danger.
Due to the bad weather in Lviv region, as reported by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, 101 settlements remain without electricity as of 1:00 PM. In particular, 34 are completely and 67 partially blacked out. Specialists of Lvivoblenergo continue to eliminate the consequences of the bad weather.
As reported by the Lviv City Council, due to the bad weather, a tree fell on St. Yura Square, damaging the trolleybus contact network. Because of this, trolleybuses No. 22, No. 30, and No. 32 were temporarily launched on shortened routes - only to Kropyvnytskyi Square.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene. According to reports, the estimated time for restoring trolleybus traffic on regular routes is up to 3 hours.
Public pages reported "rivers" on the streets after the downpour in Lviv and Truskavets, as well as that lightning struck a TV tower.
