Audi has announced new car models for 2025 after a significant drop in profits. The company will present updated A5, A6 e-tron, Q5, Q6, A7, Q3 and other models with new specifications.
In the third quarter of 2024, the German automaker's operating profit fell by 91% due to a number of reasons, including economic aspects and restructuring. But Audi hopes for results in 202, and is currently announcing new models of SUVs and station wagons - for the first time in 3 years.

Audi has had to deal with a backlog of modernization for a long time. In addition, 2024 confirmed the difficulties with profits: a 91% drop to 106 million euros due to the poor economy and restructuring measures.
However , Audi's new model portfolio for 2025 is trying to bring a breath of fresh air, including to the premium car series.
The most important innovations of 2025 and the following years:
A5
Audi has changed its names: electric series will get an even number, internal combustion engines will get an odd number. That is, the classic successful A4 and A6 models will become A5 and A7 in the future. With the A5 series (internally B10), Audi is eliminating numbers that are confusing for many and indicate different engines.
A6 e-tron
Expected to be available in early 2025, the electric Audi is designed to combine modern looks with the tradition of upper-middle-class Audi. The Sportback sedan offers a trunk volume of 502 to 1,330 liters, while the Avant offers up to 1,422 liters. The sedan and wagon can tow trailers weighing up to 2.1 tons and have a range of at least 627 kilometers.
The curved OLED display serves as the control center. The new driving assistant uses map data and information from other vehicles to support the driver.
Q5 and Sportback
The new Q5 is based on the new PPC technical platform and is an SUV. The third generation Q5 looks sportier than its predecessors and will be available in a Sportback coupe version from the fall of 2025. Inside, travelers will find a “digital stage”, a panoramic display with a curved design and OLED technology, which consists of an 11.9-inch center instrument and a 14.5-inch multimedia display.
It is noted that a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine or a diesel engine of the same volume will be available at the start.
Later, the company plans to produce two hybrids that can travel about 100 kilometers on electricity alone, the company explains.

Q6
The Q6 e-tron will be available as a Sportback hatchback. As with all new models, the interior has a multitude of displays. The trunk has a capacity of up to 1,373 liters - 150 liters less than the regular Q6. The entry-level electric Sportback version is equipped with 185 kW/252 hp and an 83 kWh high-voltage battery. The Q6 Sportback e-tron Quattro offers a system output of 285 kW (387 hp).
A7
The A7 Avant will be launched in the summer of 2025, followed by the Sportback a few weeks later. Most likely, the previous four-liter eight-cylinder engine (EA825) will be removed from the top versions. It will give way to a three-liter V6 with development code EA839 evo, which is at least as powerful.
Q3
It is expected at the end of 2025. The company promises that the model will be based on the MQB evo modular system for transverse engines. Only four-cylinder units will work under the hood. The Sportback variant will go into mass production in early 2026.
Q7 and Q4 e-tron
The third generation Q7 is also expected in 2026. Drive systems - electrified diesel and gasoline engines, as well as hybrids. They are likely to be similar to those used in the A7.
Q9, successor to A3
The Q9 super SUV may finally hit the roads in 2027. It will probably be the last all-new model in Audi's history to still have an internal combustion engine under the hood. Q9 is primarily intended for the Chinese and US markets
