Videos circulated on social media show about a dozen bodies wrapped in blankets on the floor of the hospital, but these have not yet been verified. Local residents claim that there were at least 30 people in the building that was hit.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA and Hamas media reported 32 deaths, but the Gaza Ministry of Health has not yet confirmed these figures.
The local emergency service said that its activities were suspended due to the ongoing Israeli raid on two towns and a refugee camp in northern Gaza, which began on October 5, so the number of victims has not been determined.
