"We managed to evacuate a 49-year-old woman from Nevske yesterday. She was helped to leave for Kharkiv region. She is now safe and has a place to live," said Artem Lysohir, head of the Luhansk RMA. "The occupants continue to shell Nevske and neighboring Makiivka, using cannon artillery and UAVs. Makiivka was also hit with multiple rocket launchers.
The invaders are trying to attack these two villages every day, the RMA head noted.
As for the occupied territories, while in Rubizhne or Sievierodonetsk, locals can get access to mobile communications, which is officially banned by Russia in frontline cities, for a certain amount of money, in Lysychansk the control is stricter. "There, if you try to use the coverage, you are taken to the basement," RMA noted.
"But they promise water. However, it is unknown when. The occupiers have not repaired the centralized water supply in Lysychansk in two years. They promised several times. Today there is some progress. They say they have repaired 500 meters of water pipes out of 13 km of destroyed ones. We are closer to the water," RMA said in a statement.
