Billion for the purchase of drones: Ministry of Defense explained what opportunities exist for brigades

The Ministry of Defense is allocating an additional UAH 1.1 billion to the Armed Forces to purchase drones. Over 11 months, total direct funding for military units amounted to UAH 27.2 billion.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive an additional UAH 1.1 billion for the purchase of drones. Each brigade will independently determine its needs and will be able to purchase the drones that are most needed at the front, the Defense Ministry reported, UNN reports.

"As instructed by the President of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense continues to increase direct funding for brigades to provide them with everything they need to perform combat missions. Today, we are allocating an additional UAH 1.1 billion to the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the purchase of drones. Each brigade will independently determine its needs and will be able to purchase the drones that are most needed at the front," Defense Minister Rustem Umerov said .
According to him, this month, UAH 4.3 billion was allocated directly to military units from various sources. "Over 11 months, such direct funding has already amounted to UAH 27.2 billion," the minister said.
"At the same time, the state is systematically investing in the army. Over the past 10 months, the government has allocated UAH 229 billion for the purchase of military equipment, weapons, ammunition, personal protective equipment, defense products and food for the Security and Defense Forces," the Defense Minister said.
