The Cabinet of Ministers demands that schools be fully prepared for the new academic year, including shelters and textbooks. From September 1, teachers’ salaries will increase by 20%, while students’ scholarships will double.

By September 1 of this year, all educational institutions in Ukraine must be fully prepared for the new academic year. At the same time, during a Government meeting, the Ministry of Education and Science presented a report on the state of preparations, UNN reports, citing Prime Minister Serhii Koretskyi.

As the head of the Cabinet noted, the number one priority is the safety of students and teachers: the construction of shelters and the provision of school buses to communities are ongoing. At the same time, despite Russian attacks on printing houses and warehouses, students in all grades must be fully provided with textbooks.
In addition, teachers' salaries will increase by 20% starting September 1.
Student scholarships will double. More than 3 million schoolchildren will receive free meals
