About 150 people a day are denied crossing the border due to lack of necessary documents to obtain a permit, while cases of illegal crossing are recorded almost daily, most of them in the direction of Moldova and Romania.

This was announced in a telethon by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, UNN reports .

According to Demchenko, there are attempts to illegally cross the border in green areas and at checkpoints, where violators try to use forged documents.

As for the green line, the most attempts are recorded, and this situation has been unchanged for some time, most of all on the border with Moldova and Romania. When it comes to checkpoints, most attempts to use forged documents are recorded at the border with Poland

"About 150 people a day are denied crossing the border because they do not have the necessary documents that would give them the right to cross the border, or because they do not fall into the categories that can cross the border," the spokesman added.

There is currently no significant increase in the number of illegal border crossings, but attempts to illegally cross the border continue both along the green border and at checkpoints, with the highest number of such attempts recorded at the borders with Romania, Moldova and Poland.
